At Last! A Flat Leather nose piece that can enhance the effectiveness of the Sweet Six bit for additional balance, rate and control. Designed to fit only the Reinsman Sharon Camarillo line of Sweet Six bits. 706
The slight gag design makes this lifter less intimidating and more accepting to many horses than the solid lifter.
The three piece mouth offers additional leverage to the corners of the mouth providing a light responsive feel, while offering the rider the ability to reframe and rebalance a horse that has the tendency to lean on the bridle or drop his shoulder in turns or lead transitions. 733
This sliding mouth snaffle takes the pressure off the lower tongue, lip and bars of the horse's mouth which can cause a horse's jaw and head to lower and drop behind the traditional ring snaffle. The elevation of the mouthpiece directs the pressure points upwards toward the corners of the mouth inviting the horse to extend his nose and elevate his poll. 702
Sweet Six
5/16" Copper Twisted Dogbone
3" Cheeks 5 1/2" Mouth
This bit is a great alternative to the traditional ring bit. Its creative design offers direct control for suppling and headset. The sweet six works off the corners of the lips, tongue and bars. The curb design offers an additional pressure area for control and education. Best used in the training process with split reins and chain curb. This bit can be complemented with a running pole or a german martingale. Adjust for a neutral position with one wrinkle in the corner of the mouth. 767.
Less aggressive version of the 715 Lifter. Offers a nice option to aid the rider in aligning the horse's body and balancing the shoulder. Offers a firm yet unintimidating rate. The small gag and independent motion in the shanks makes this bit an excellent transition from the ring snaffle and a nice bit to ride in the pasture or trail. Should be neutrally adjusted to meet the corners of the horse's mouth with two fingers between the curb and chin. 713
