Shoulder Holder Bit
This is a great bit for elevating a horse's shoulder going into a turn. It aids the rider in holding a horse's shoulder steady, maintaining a more optimal body position around a barrel. Very fair and forgiving, the mouthpiece is set forward on the shank, which helps increase lift and lateral movement. This bit also helps to maintain forward motion on horses that anticipate a turn. Little S Hackamore
This little bit is deceiving. While it does not have a lot of whoa, it works well on horses that have a lot of natural rate. Has a good deal of lift and a lot of flex. Used by a good many Barrel Racers in competition. It is a good bit for slow work and training. 964
