The heavy duty, stitched and reinforced harness leather Bonnet Tie down is used on horses that have a tendency to carry their poll high with their chins tucked behind the vertical. These horses learn to "hide" behind a traditional noseband tie down and avoid contact. The Bonnet Tie down uses pressure in front of and behind the horse's ears at the poll area to lower the head and regain control and contact.

The leather browband applies pressure at the horse's brow to help collect and balance a horse at higher rates of speed and directional changes.
