This is a bit for starting my barrel training or on horses that have a sensitive mouth that do not need much bit. It is nice and soft, offering complete rate and lift for turns.
Futurity 6.5 Snaffle
This shank is designed for the stronger horse who still needs the flexibility of the gag cheek. The longer shank and gag action provides more poll pressure which encourages greater flexion and gives you more control.
The traditional snaffle has a slightly curved mouthpiece so it is easy for a horse to carry and is comfortable. This mouthpiece will apply even pressure to the corners of a horse’s mouth.
L & W 1/4 Moon Locked with Copper
3/8" Twist with copper inlay and dogbone roller.
Will get as much bend in the rib cage as the unlocked but with the locked will get a quicker reaction. 3 Piece mouthpiece.
