Futurity 5.5 Snaffle
This is a good bit for the young horse who is ready to be transitioned from a snaffle to a shank bit. The short gag action allows the rider to pick up a horse when needed, allowing for greater control. The traditional snaffle has a slightly curved mouthpiece so it is easy for a horse to carry and is comfortable. This mouthpiece will apply even pressure to the corners of a horse’s mouth. Mouth: 5 3/4" Cheek: 5 1/2"

JR Cowhorse Twisted Snaffle – Short or Long
Short: This bit is excellent for a horse with a soft mouth. The gag cheek provides elevation in the shoulders. All of these bits should be adjusted to fit with one wrinkle in the horse's mouth and a loose curb strap to allow 2-3 fingers. This mouthpiece works similar to a smooth snaffle. The twist adds bar pressure helps to sharpen the focus of a finished horse.
Long: This bit will give more leverage while maintaining a soft feel. A step up from the short shank allowing the rider to move forward to the next level of training. All loose curb strap to allow 2-3 fingers.
