The Bozo Sidepull is a replica of the headgear World Champion barrel racer Kristie Peterson used on Bozo. The shape of the shank and length of the nosepiece combine to create a sidepull hackamore that allows your horse to be comfortable enough to really run in, yet gives you enough control to rate and regulate the run. It helps correct a horse that is over bending, and is more for the finished horse than for training.
This unique mouthpiece does not give the 'V' effect of other snaffles. When pulled on it conforms to the horses mouth. Helps keep the pull out of your horse's mouth.
Unique antiqued brown horseshoe cheeks with nickel spots.
Mouthpiece is a sweet iron snaffle with chain center.
The square twist gag provides more authority than the plain snaffle and is good on stronger willed or pushy horses. The longer 8" shanks enhance the leverage and further increases the control of this bit.
Wonder Bit with Sweet Iron Snaffle Mouth 7" Cheeks 5" Mouth Connie uses this bit after the draw bit (D6015 or D6016) for more control. She uses this bit to give the horse more flex in the body and at the poll.
Connie Combs bit by Greg Darnall - 2 3/4” rings 5” mouthpiece.Conforms to the mouth. Good bit for flex and for colts. Great for slow work. Headstalls attach to small ring. Hobble bit to stabilize (recommended). A starting bit.
Mouth:5”, 3-pc. twisted copper wire.
Rings:2-3/4”, Stainless steel rings.
A good bit for hard ground, if you need more control or to keep the pull out of your horse.
The gag action helps to soften the poll.
Unique horseshoe cheeks with nikel spots.
Mouthpiece is a 5" sweetiron mullen mouth.
This is an exercise bit and soft ground bit. It works well on a horse with a natural rate at the barrels but needs to keep his rear end under him and stop the swinging. This is a good bit to exercise your horse during the week to get away from the gag bit action. It works on the headset and poll rather than flexing.
